A Pro-Active Approach

holistic testing for equine wellness

The Equum Nutritional Imbalance analysis utilises principles of biophysics to evaluate how nutrients interact with the horse’s cells and tissues at a molecular level.

Unlike conventional blood tests, which measure nutrient levels currently circulating in the bloodstream, this analysis provides a more comprehensive view of how the horse’s entire system responds to nutrients. Blood tests can offer valuable information about nutrient levels at a single point in time but are often influenced by recent meals or temporary conditions. They may not fully capture the horse’s long-term response to nutrients or how well these are integrated and utilised across bodily systems.

The Equum test uses both hair and saliva samples, each providing a stable record of the horse’s biochemical state. These samples allow us to assess compatibility with a wide range of nutrients, capturing the horse’s sustained cellular responses to essential vitamins, minerals, and dietary components. This insight helps identify any imbalances that may affect the horse’s well-being.

Through this method, we can tailor recommendations to the horse’s specific biological needs. This holistic approach may suggest a need for supplementation or dietary adjustments. that enhance balance across the entire body, offering a personalised perspective on nutrition that supports long-term health and well-being. By evaluating the horse’s nutritional profile from a comprehensive, biophysical standpoint, we provide insights that go beyond immediate blood values, aiming to optimise health across all systems.
